Open Studio

Open Studios is non-instructional work time included in the class fee for current students to come in and practice throwing. Open studios will transition to glaze only during glaze weeks. These open studio sessions are 3-4 hour blocks of non-instruction practice time. Participants need to pay for the clay you use during open studios, and the cost is $2.50 per pound of clay. Clay can be purchased at our register when you’re done for the day and your bisque & glaze firing costs are included - all clay used must be paid for, even crashed clay (cost goes towards labor, firing, etc). Each student is allowed 15 pieces total per class session and pieces during open studios do count towards the student’s class total.
