There’s never a better time to join Studio T/M as a member!
Our ethos: We prioritize kindness, inclusiveness, cleanliness, creativity, and community.
We welcome anyone who lives these values to come visit us at Studio T/M. Our studio is one that we want you to love coming to, where you always feel welcome, and one that maintains a fun and supportive community.
We do things a little bit differently at Studio T/M, unlike other pottery studios, we provide glazes and tools, so that you don’t have to invest in your own personal collection of glazes - unless you really want to! We’ve built a state of the art beautiful space that we are so thrilled to share with you. We cater to both wheel throwers and handbuilders with Shimpo wheels and custom-built sit-stand work benches, and a glaze bar of pre-mixed studio glazes with seasonal colors, and brush-able glazes for your decorating needs. We carry over 10 different Kentucky Mudworks clays, so whether you love red, white, light or dark brown, or almost black clays, we have something for you!
We are dedicated to providing the local Gainesville and surrounding communities with art events so that everyone has the chance to be part of our space and reconnect or develop their inner artist while building meaningful connections with others. Through various initiatives and collaborations, we actively strive to make a positive impact beyond the studio walls, through charity, workshops for schools, and our mutual partnerships with other business and groups within the community, all while working to share the joy of pottery.
Zero Tolerance Policy (seriously)
Rudeness and mean-spiritedness - which includes bigotry of any kind
Theft or deliberate damage of studio tools, equipment, supplies or other members/students’ personal belongings and work
Repeated failure to clean up after yourself - memory lapses happen, but the studio should always be left as clean, if not cleaner, than you found it.
